We find out Derek has this amazingly beautiful wife, Addison, that cheated on him and now wants him back. (Now I know what most people think about the whole cheating thing...she did it to get Derek's attention. Their relationship was going downhill and she though she needed to do something drastic. Although that was probably the stupidist way to get somebody's attention, We still like her. And we all know that everybody makes mistakes.) So far they are doing ok; they're not getting a divorce and they are attending marriage counseling. Addison still apparently loves him, but we still don't know if Derek loves her. They are trying really hard to make their marriage work, and it is starting to show.
